Trov, has partnered with UFODRIVE, an all-electric car rental service, to expand insurance to mobility and gig risk services in the UK. Using Trov’s Mobility Platform, the UFODRIVE team can monitor, manage and mitigate their insured and uninsured risks. The company also gets risk operations technology that can address its unique risk requirements, combined with context-based commercial insurance, managed by UK Insurance Business Solutions under the NIG brand, both of which are part of the Direct Line Group. “The team at Trov have been able to develop an insurance program to suit our unique needs,” shared Jonathan Shine, Head of UFODRIVE’s UK business. “By complementing our coverage with Trov’s Risk Operations Technology, we have put in place a solution for optimum vehicle utilisation and uptime – a critical ingredient for success in 2021,” Shine continued.

Acadian will leverage the Neptune platform that allows agents to quote and bind property coverage through State National Fire Insurance Company, Ocean Harbor Insurance Company, and a Lloyd’s of London market underwritten by Chubb Ltd.
Church Mutual has launched an armed intruder alert system. Church Mutual Insurance Company’s new alert system will provide eligible customers with a free emergency device called Pill for Police for faster response time in case of intruders. The device connects to an active CM Sensor kit, a proprietary Church Mutual IoT package. “It’s very unfortunate we live in a day and age when the threat of an armed intruder is a reality for our customers,” Church Mutual President and CEO Rich Poirier said. “As part of our continued customer focus, we hope the Pull for Police Armed Intruder Emergency Service program will shorten law enforcement response times and in turn save lives.”
